A Cold and Beautiful Day on Skjálfandi Bay

Our search for whales in Skjálfandi Bay on March 23 took place on a cold but absolutely beautiful day.

Despite searching the bay, we didn't encounter any whales or dolphins during today's tour. Days like this are part of whale watching in the wild we head out without knowing what we will find, and every trip gives us a different glimpse of the bay.

Although there were no cetacean sightings today, the beautiful March conditions and surrounding landscape made for a memorable early-season trip on Skjálfandi Bay.

We'll be back out searching again as soon as conditions allow.
