A Rainy Day on Skjálfandi Bay

Today we were back out on Skjálfandi Bay, searching for whales from Húsavík on a rainy April morning.

Despite our search, we had no wildlife sightings to report from today's tour. With rain over the bay and a moving sea, it was one of the more challenging days of our early season.

Our Ocean Journal follows the season as it really happens. Some days bring unforgettable encounters, while others are simply about heading out, searching the bay and seeing what the day brings.

Today was one of the quiet ones, and we'll continue our search on the next tour.
